Autofahren und Busse - Cars and Busses

Dass es hier innerhalb der Stadt kostenlose Busse gibt, hatte ich ja schon geschrieben. Genau wie in Deutschland auch, gibt es Priority Seats fuer Alte, Schwangere, Behinderte oder Personen mit Kinderwagen. Genau wie bei uns wird auch gebeten, seinen Platz einer Person der obigen Gruppe anzubieten, wenn der Bus voll ist.
Was ich wirklich noch nicht erlebt habe, ist, dass dies auch getan wird. Dafuer musste ich erst nach Perth kommen. Eigentlich immer springen die Juengeren auf, um Platz zu machen. Es ist selbstverstaendlich hier. Ich finde es klasse!
Auch das Autofahren ist hier angenehmer. Noch nie bin ich gerne in einer groesseren Stadt Auto gefahren. Es wurde gedraengelt, gehupt, kein Platz gemacht, falls man sich mal falsch eingeordnet hat,…
Hier ist es deutlich angenehmer. Es gibt etliche Kreisverkehre – und man muss keine Angst haben, dass einem die Vorfahrt genommen wird: Eher wird hier gestoppt als noch schnell eingefahren. Beim Auffahren auf den Freeway verschmelzen Beschleunigungsspur und linke Fahrbahn zu einer Spur: Alles faehrt ganz problemlos und der Eine ordnet sich hinter dem Anderen ein.
Ich bin wirklich positiv ueberrascht.


I mentioned the free busses in one of the sooner posts. And like in other countries there are signs which ask you to offer your seat to elderer, pregnant or disabled people. I have never seen before that this is done. Here in Perth the people jump up when there are no more seats and a mate out of this group is coming into the bus.

The other thing is the driving. Normally I don’t like to drive in bigger cities. But here it is different: There is no pushing, no hooting or something like that.
The left lane and the lane you speed up when you are driving to the freeway, this to become one – and there are no problems. One car is speeding up, the other becomes maybe a bit slowlier. Everything regulates themselves. Great. It is so pleasant to drive here. I am positively surprised.


Today I learned a lot of grammar. That seems to be the reason why I use the past perfect – now I hope this is correct. I am not sure at all, but that one who is exposed to my post can contact me. I am thankful for every help.
